It has now come time to recruit IGOLD Volunteers and “We
Need You!”
A Rough Description of what your job will be is:
- March along the perimeter of the parade to keep the
crowd moving and assist anyone who might have a difficulty.
- Make sure everyone clears the street once we reach
the Lincoln steps
- Inside the Capitol:
We will need 3-4 volunteers posted around the rotunda on each floor to
assist with giving directions.
- Inside the tunnel:
We will need volunteers at the entrance - cross points - and exits
- In the Stratton Building:
- We will need volunteers at the elevators at each
end of the building, and on the Second floor
- Point out restrooms and elevators
- Point out legislators' offices
- Assist anyone who needs it
- Smile, be friendly and courteous
